On April 29, a monthly meeting of entrepreneurs took place in the co-creation space in Aizkraukle. It was attended by entrepreneurs and guests from Zemgale Business Centre, the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia, as well as from the company SIA "Sense of Team".
Kaspars Abiks, Head of the Pierīga Region Representative Office of the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA), informed about all the types of support that the LIAA offers to entrepreneurs, from the idea to support for large entrepreneurs and investors, as well as about the development opportunities of existing companies and support for export promotion.
Lolita Felzenberga, an expert on digitalisation issues at the Zemgale Entrepreneurship Centre, informed about the services provided by the European Digital Innovation Centre (EDIC), as well as the upcoming webinars on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and the largest annual event for entrepreneurs in the region – the Zemgale Entrepreneurs' Forum, which will take place on May 13 at the House of Culture in Līvbērze parish. Klinta Švēbele, Head of Customer Relations at SIA "Sense of team", told about the basic principles of a high-functioning team, the methodology used by the company "Sense of team" when cooperating and conducting team development trainings for companies, as well as about the possibilities of receiving European Union co-financing for the development of company employees, improving team cooperation.
Meetings with entrepreneurs of the county provide an opportunity to meet representatives of various industries and organizations, as well as to network with each other. Several participants of the event applied for the organization of further meetings, inviting this event to be held in their company and offering to introduce others to the services and current events provided by it.
The next meeting of entrepreneurs is scheduled for May 27.
