Planned Activities in Aizkraukle Municipality
Organized into three main blocks:
"Gain Experience and Find Courage and Inspiration"
In this phase, youth workers and young people from Aizkraukle will deepen their knowledge on “Digitalization in Everyday Life and Business.” Exchange visits and discussions will take place, aiming to expand knowledge and skills and foster new forms of cooperation between local government, youth, and entrepreneurs. The goal is to enhance rural youth integration into the labor market and potentially inspire them to start their own businesses.
- "Learn and Learn to Apply"
With newly acquired equipment and resources, Aizkraukle youth will gain essential digital, life, and career development skills and knowledge for personal growth. Youth will be encouraged to express themselves creatively and highlight topics important to them through media like photo, video, animation, and sound. This phase will also include the annual Aizkraukle Youth Day, this year planned as a festival: “Digitally FREE”.
- "Apply and Share with Others"
In the final phase, youth will share their experiences and knowledge by visiting general education schools in Aizkraukle municipality. They will lead peer-led workshops, informing other young people about digital tools available and the achievements made during the project.
The project is coordinated by the Aizkraukle Municipality Centre for Interest Education.
